Great experience!
Just moved into town and am looking to start fresh, one of the first places worth going to is a nice, quiet place like the local public library!
I asked what it took to get a card and provided the documentation needed to prove my residency in Cookeville. Within a few minutes, a couple signatures, and some paperwork, card acquired!
The atmosphere of the facility itself is calm, peaceful, and controlled. Coffee is available at the front door and there is plenty of room upstairs as well as on the main floor to find a quiet spot and get to reading or studying. Great place if you are already a student at an educational institution here.
Worth dropping in and seeing what is available! 🤙

Great place to visit ! plenty of books, DVDs and games to choose from. Sitting areas throughout. Calendar of events posted in the foyer and on the front marquee. Check their website for details on requirements to obtain a library card.
Nice library & staff are friendly. Looks like they have a good variety. I only needed to use a pc & print a paper.
Thankyou for allowing freedom of expression throughout your books. I promise not everyone is a bigot or homophobic in this town. Please fight and keep these books available to the public.
My kids love coming here. The kids library is downstairs. The monthly Book Sale on first Saturday of every month is great, too.
