This is such a wonderful library. Great kids play area with a kitchen, baby area, block tables and an interactive room. It projects games on the wall that you can touch and earn points. They also plan great events that are always fun for The family. The staff are helpful and there's a diverse book collection.

I took my 22 months old and she had an amazing time there . Beautiful space and huge kids area with different play stations. I’m giving 4 stars and not 5 because I literally walked in and said Hi to the stuff no one responded! And when I was leaving we said have a nice day as the lady was looking at me and still nothing . This was the first time something like this happens especially at a library usually stuff are very friendly and welcoming. A smile could go a long way. 😊

Awesome library. Very unique. We, my granddaughter and I spent 4 hours there reading and enjoying the other wonderful activities they provide. Librarians were very nice and helpful. Very clean.

I watched a YouTube video about the lost town at sag bridge. My dad Bob bily owned the junkyard "cal sag Auto" and I have pictures of the old Lambert train station and pictures of some of the old houses there. The train station was the Joliet Chicago electric railroad. Our old office was one of the old houses. The train station burned down in the 80's. We built a new office and we lived above it and lived there since 1992. Along the I&m canal was where everyone dumped garbage. You wouldn't believe the antique stuff I found over there. My dad bought the property in 1961 or 62. He passed away in 2015. The history he told me about that area. There is still a old turntable for the trains that is buried next to where the station was.
