Im a public visitor to this library and graduated college over 20 years ago. I go here to do research sometimes and for continued education workshops. Staff is friendly and peaceful place to study. I would recommend Wash U to anyone and they libraries are aweso.e!
I studied a LOT in this library when I was a student here. While the institution itself is excellent, and serves the university well, how this modernist slab got built on Cope & Stewardson's gorgeous Neo-gothic campus is a mystery to me. Let's just say that WashU does what it can with the building to make it more pleasant but, for the most part, it's dark corners and low ceilings.
great library, you can have all kinds of drink and snacks at the Whisper Cafe inside the library at the lobby floor. Near the end of semester, it’s very crowded, so be sure to come to library earlier to get a quite spot
Very cool place whispers café is nice!
This library is an amazing hub of information and I love that it's open late for people like me who work best at night. There is also a nice cafe that serves food and drinks! Definitely one of my favorite libraries in the city.
