I just got an account here and wished I hadn't waited so long! I love that their are magazines people donate in the entryway. I have taken a few and will have to bring some in sometime as well. I am an adult but prefer kid and youth books because they are comforting to me, and I like how the librarians don't act like they are mocking me for it like I've experienced elsewhere. Most of the staff is very nice. The library is clean and well organized. I also love the area of town it's located in. Definitely worth stopping in!

Reviews of Bertha Bartlett Public Library
Excellent public library. Very well stocked with new books and also has a wide variety of other books, movies, and magazines as well. The staff is very friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. They've also had used book sales, currently have a free magazine exchange, and have awesome programs for children. We've been coming here for a few years and there has only been one book they didn't have that I wanted (pretty old and obscure) and they were able to get it for me from a different library.
I like to read magazines at the library, periodically
Preschool movement is an adventure at BBPL.
Just passing through, very cute and friendly Library. I even found a book by my favorite author that I didn't know existed!
Good selection of books and movies.
